Are surf lessons suitable for complete beginners?
Absolutely! Our surf coaching packages are designed for all skill levels, including complete beginners. Our instructors will guide you through the basics, ensuring you feel confident and safe in the water.
When is the best time to surf in Morocco?
The prime surf season for experienced surfers is from October to March/April. However, if you're learning, any time of year is suitable. Summer offers smaller waves, which are perfect for beginners.
What is the weather like during the surf season?
Morocco is an ideal winter surf destination, with the season running from October to March/April. Along the Atlantic coast near Agadir, temperatures are mild, averaging around 20°C. Winter highs often reach 27°C, making it perfect for surfing.
Do I need to wear a wetsuit when surfing in Morocco?
While it’s possible to surf without a wetsuit, we recommend wearing one even when the water is warm to protect against sunburn. In winter, many surfers go without, but the sun's reflection on the water can be intense, so it's best to wear a wetsuit for comfort and protection.
What should I bring for my surf holiday?
Pack as you would for a day at the beach: sunscreen, a cap, and some warm clothes for cooler evenings. If you have a favorite wetsuit or surf gear, feel free to bring it along.
